Here’s a taste of our 7-Day Classic Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater Safari:

Arusha and Ngorongoro Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Land at Kilimanjaro International Airport. We’ll meet you and get you to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax, settle in, and get briefed on the adventure ahead.
Day 2
After breakfast, head to Tarangire. Picture massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You’ll spend the day spotting wildlife along the Tarangire River, then overnight at a lodge or tented camp just outside the park.
Day 3
Drive out to legendary Serengeti National Park. Even the journey is gorgeous. In the afternoon, go on your first game drive in the Seronera Valley, famous for its lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Stay in a classic lodge or a luxury tented camp in the heart of the action.
Day 4
Spend the whole day exploring—track the migration, look for the Big Five, and just take in the wild. If you’re up for it, you can book an early morning hot air balloon ride (trust me, it’s unforgettable). Overnight at the same lodge or camp.
Day 5
Squeeze in one last game drive in the Serengeti, then after lunch, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Tonight, you’ll sleep in a lodge perched on the crater rim—the views are unreal.
Day 6
Drop down into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s biggest intact volcanic caldera. Spend the day tracking predators and, if you’re lucky, spotting the rare black rhino. Overnight in Karatu or Arusha.
Day 7
After breakfast, we’ll get you back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home—memories guaranteed.

FAQs

  • Q1 When should I go if I want to see the Great Migration?
  • June to September is best for the dramatic river crossings in the North. For calving season in the South (Ndutu area), January to March is perfect. But honestly, we can tailor your safari for any season—you’ll always see something spectacular.
  • Q2 How do I get to Tanzania from India?
  • There aren’t any direct flights, but it’s easy via airlines like Emirates, Qatar Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, and Kenya Airways. You’ll fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (closest for safaris) or Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam. Door-to-door, the trip usually takes 10–15 hours.
  • Q3 How much does a Tanzania safari cost in Indian Rupees?
  • Prices change depending on when you travel and where you stay. For a 7-day all-inclusive safari, here’s what to expect:
  • Peak Season (June–October): ₹2,80,000–₹3,50,000+ per person
  • Shoulder Season (November–March): ₹2,45,000–₹3,15,000+ per person
  • Low Season (April–May): ₹2,10,000–₹2,80,000+ per person
  • These are rough estimates. We’ll send you a detailed quote based on what you’re looking for.
  • Q4: What are the visa and vaccination requirements for Indian passport holders?
  • If you hold an Indian passport, you’ll need a visa to visit Tanzania. You can sort that out online with an eVisa before you travel. As for vaccinations, you must have a Yellow Fever certificate. Make sure you get the shot at least 10 days before your trip.
  • Q5: What type of accommodation can I expect in your safari packages?
  • We’ve got options. There are cozy, authentic tented camps that really let you soak up the wild, and then there are luxury lodges—think the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti—with top-notch comfort and stunning views right in the middle of the wilderness.
  • Q6: Is Tanzania a safe destination for Indian travelers?
  • Absolutely. Tanzania is safe and friendly for tourists. The national parks are well-run, and our guides always put your safety and comfort first.
