Day 1

Welcome to Safari Country

Land at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport. Our team will be there to pick you up and drive you to your lodge in Arusha. Dinner comes with a safari briefing—get some rest, the adventure’s just starting.

Stay: Arusha Coffee Lodge or Mount Meru Hotel

Day 2

Into the Serengeti

After breakfast, hit the road toward the legendary Serengeti. You’ll get your first taste of the wild on the way, with a game drive en route to your camp. Keep your eyes open—you might spot the first signs of the migration.

Stay: Seronera Wildlife Lodge or Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp

Day 3

Front Row Seats – Northern Serengeti (or Mara Region)

Three full days, all about the migration. Your guide positions you at the Mara River, waiting for that heart-stopping moment when thousands of wildebeest and zebra decide to cross. Crocodiles are waiting. The tension in the air is real.

You’ll have packed lunches so you can stay out all day, following the herds and catching predator action as it happens.

Day 6

Into the Ngorongoro Crater

One last morning game drive in the Serengeti, then we head for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll descend into the crater, a massive natural amphitheater packed with wildlife. Game drive inside the crater—the “Garden of Eden”—with a good shot at seeing all of the Big Five.

Day 7

Maasai Mara or More Serengeti

Option A (Kenya): Transfer to the iconic Maasai Mara. Afternoon game drive to get your bearings in this rich ecosystem—basically, the northern extension of the Serengeti.

Option B (Tanzania): Stick with the herds and explore another part of the Serengeti, depending on where the action is.

Day 8

Prime Migration Viewing

Two full days in the thick of the migration, either in the Maasai Mara or wherever the herds are concentrated in the Serengeti. Watch the calm, watch the chaos, and soak in every moment—from nervous groups gathering at riverbanks to the wild frenzy of a crossing.

Optional: Book a sunrise hot air balloon safari for a view you’ll never forget (extra cost).

Squeeze in a final morning game drive, grab those last photos, and then visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditions firsthand. After that, we’ll get you to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi or back to Arusha, where your journey wraps up.
